Corporate functions, staff parties, family reunions and celebrations on the lawns of a historic estate — with the Sweet River, open pasture and the sea all on one property.
Paradise River Park sits on the old Paradise Pen estate between Savanna-la-Mar and Ferris Cross. The Clarke family has cared for this land for more than seventy years — as a working estate, a country club, and a place where Westmoreland comes to picnic, ride, swim and celebrate.
Today we host organisations and families for days they remember: riverside lunches, team-building on the pasture, Christmas parties under the trees and quiet heritage walks among the ruins of the old Great House.
Tell us the occasion and the headcount — we'll match you to the right space, menu and extras, and hold your date while you confirm.
Staff Christmas parties, year-end retreats, client appreciation days and product launches with full catering.
Facilitated games on open pasture, riverside lunch and horseback rides — a day out of the office that actually bonds a team.
Exchange vows under the trees with the river as your backdrop, then celebrate on the lawn into the evening.
Picnic tables, barbecue pits and space for every generation — from river swimming to dominoes in the shade.
Safe, supervised green space for groups, with group rates on day passes and guided nature and heritage walks.
Overnight camping, bonfire evenings and wellness retreats, by arrangement with the park.
Per-guest catering packages, prepared fresh on site. Venue hire is charged separately by space — your quote shows every line.
Archaeologists from the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Jamaica National Heritage Trust have excavated Indigenous settlement sites on the estate. The old Paradise Pen — recorded from the 1750s — still shows its cut-stone entrance, the ruins of the Great House and the Overseer's House, old walls and cannon.
It is also a place where enslaved Africans laboured, and we tell their story too.
